Every year on October 31st, Church Street celebrates Halloween like no place else – becoming known as the biggest Halloween party in North America. Thousands of people put on the most creative and outrageous costumes and join the outdoor street party. Bars and restaurants participate in this unique experience with costume contests and Halloween night events. Church Street will be closed from Wood Street to Gloucester Street from 6:00 pm on Monday October 31st to 2:00 am on November 1st.

CIUT will be pumping out the tunes north of Wellesley, with special guest DJs Dred E Maximum and Magic Tricks. We’ll be live-to-air on CIUT 89.5FM from 8pm-10pm. Check out all the great shops, cafes and bars and enjoy a beverage at your favourite Village locale. Watch as Church Street comes alive with the most unbelievable costumes and sublime characters. Be sure to dress up and be part of the epic action this year!

There’s also a Zombie Walk scheduled for between 8pm and 930pm, with pre-drinks happening at Glad Day (499 Church St.) 6pm-8pm. Join this group of walking undead as we stumble up and down Church Street. The evening starts with a meet-up at 6:00pm at the newly reopened Glad Day (499 Church Street) where all zombies can collect and enjoy a few drinks to help get the zombie stumble perfected while enjoying the view of the costumes and action on the street.
