It’s time for an 80s flashback…or introduction…depending on when you were born. Either way, this will be an incredible evening of Canadian New Wave & Synthpop, live on stage and then afterwards with a DJ dance party curated by Toronto’s own DJ Lazarus.

RATIONAL YOUTH (Montreal, Canada) – New Wave Synth Pioneers – Rational Youth was formed in 1981 in Montreal, Quebec, by synthesizer players Tracy Howe and Bill Vorn, both of whom idolized the German synthpop pioneers Kraftwerk. The band is considered to be one of Canada’s first synthpop groups. It’s now 35 years later and the band is sounding as fresh as ever. City of Night

PSYCHE (Canada/Germany) Synthpop/Darkwave – It all started at the end of 1982 as brothers Darrin and Stephen Huss performed for the first time in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada under the name PSYCHE. A combination of horror and electronics that in the area of Western Canada was completely unheard of and would continue to be quite shocking for some time. It’s now 35 years since Psyche began the electronic journey live on stage with songs such as “The Crawler”, “Krieg”, “The Brain Collapses” and “Screamin’ Machine. Unveiling The Secret

VALKYRIE 1984 (Toronto, Canada) Synthwave – Toronto-based electronic project. Pushing a mix of dark, romantic and dystopian motifs. Soundtrack to the apocalypse. Crime Wave
