Play for a Change 3: Kids Action & Arts Space (6-9 Year Olds) at The 519 Community Centre, 519 Church St., Toronto
This three-week series will be an awesome opportunity to have a lot of fun playing collaborative board games, and to design and build your own game (or pinball machine!) to raise awareness of something you care about or love! The games will be showcased and played on December 16 if youth choose to share them! The 519’s Kids & Youth Action and Arts Space offers fun, friends and cool opportunities for a few hours two Saturdays per month, excepting January, September, July and August. 6 - 9 years old: Every first & third Saturday of the month, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm  10 - 15 years old: Every first & third Saturday of the month, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm  The 519 is collaborating with community-based arts educators to facilitate a program of arts-based activities with queer, trans, and gender independent kids and the kids of queer and trans families.  The goal is to offer a variety of arts-based programming for young people between the ages of 6-15 in a safe and affirming environment that is free and accessible to the community.
