The annual Bonham Centre Awards Gala will be held at the beautiful Hart House at University of Toronto on Wednesday, April 13. This year’s awards will recognize LGBT business leaders and policy experts who are helping to make workplaces, and the business community as a whole, more welcoming and inclusive spaces for sexual and gender diversity.

This year’s honourees are:

Heather Conway – Executive Vice President, CBC English Language Services

Heather Conway joined the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) as Executive Vice-President of English Services in December 2013 and is responsible for CBC Radio One, CBC Radio 2, CBC Television, CBC News Network, CBC.ca, documentary and digital operations.

Colonel Jennifer Pritzker – Founder, The Tawani Foundation

Jennifer N. Pritzker is a retired U.S. Army officer, investor, and philanthropist. She is President and Chief Executive Officer of Tawani Enterprises, Inc., President of the Tawani Foundation, and Founder and Chair of the Pritzker Military Museum & Library, all located in Chicago, IL.

Selisse Berry – Founder and CEO, Out & Equal Workplace Advocates

Selisse Berry is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, the world’s largest nonprofit organization specifically dedicated to creating safe and equitable workplaces for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.

The Bonham Centre Awards were established in 2008 to recognize individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to the advancement of human rights issues surrounding sexual education.
