NUIT ROSE takes over Toronto on Saturday June 25th, with a night of queer contemporary art and performance across the city. The Church/Wellesley Village and West Queen West neighbourhoods. The city will be transformed by queer artists with provocative, cutting edge works in both indoor and outdoor spaces, including the 519 Community Centre, the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives, Artscape Youngplace and the Gladstone Hotel.

The theme of this year’s Nuit Rose is NIGHT SHIFT, where one can expect transformational encounters with art that shifts perceptions, paradigms, identities, and realities. It will be a night of celebration and adventure reflecting all things that happen between dusk and dawn.

The Light Parade – Led by Red Pepper Spectacle Arts

Beginning at sunset, join the Light Parade by wearing or carrying a light-emitting object. The parade will Meet in Norman Jewison Parkette (Gloucester/Isabella) then proceed through the parkettes east of Yonge Street, from Charles Street to Dundonald Street, and then onto Church Street.
