Outside the March takes on love, sex, technology and the future with TomorrowLove, a brand new immersive experience creating an intimate encounter that imagines the future of romantic connection. Playwright Rosamund Small and Director Mitchell Cushman follow-up their 2014 collaboration on “Vitals” (Winner of the Dora Award for Outstanding Production and Outstanding New Play) with an immersive experience that fast-forwards past Tindr and Snapchat, and gazes into what comes next.

Featuring an all-star cast of Damien Atkins (Mr. Burns, Angels in America), Mayko Nguyen (Passion Play, TV’s Killjoys), Cyrus Lane ( Passion Play, Stratford’s Possible Worlds), Oyin Oledejo (A Doll’s House, Spoon River), Anand Rajaram (Mustard, The 39 Steps), Paul Dunn (The Gay Heritage Project, East of Berlin) and Outside the March founding members Amy Keating (Mr. Marmalade, The Public Servant) and Katherine Cullen ( Vitals, Stupidhead!).

These eight award-winning actors will fall in and out of love with one another on a nightly basis—taking on different roles and different partners every evening, according to a live lottery system. TomorrowLove is Sleep No More meets Black Mirror , as audience members are invited to carve their own unique path through a network of simultaneously- unfolding visions of love in the (very near) future. Navigate your way through a series of passionate duets, in which innovations in technology gran physical transformation, time and space travel, immortality, the extraction of the human soul, and a fridge that expands to hold infinite groceries—all in the name of love.

“If you roll over in bed and reach for your iPhone, if you store more memories on your feed than in your brain, if you’ve ever longed to upgrade yourself or your partner, then welcome to TomorrowLove” describes Cushman, OtM’s Artistic Director, regular director at the Stratford Festival, and the co-creator of last year’s immersive musical smash hit Brantwood (2015 Audience Choice Dora Award).

After captivating audiences and critics alike with its award-winning, sold out productions of Mr. Marmalade, Terminus, Vitals and Mr. Burns, Outside the March is dedicating itself to the creation of wholly original, Canadian, large-scale immersive experiences.

TomorrowLove is the company’s most ambitious project yet. With over six hours of material playing out simultaneously, and cast members taking on different roles every evening, audience members can come back Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and fall in love for the first time.
