Fashion Art Toronto presents its annual, five-day celebration of provocative, avant-garde and cutting-edge fashion and art. Expect to be awed and inspired through 50+ runway shows and performances, photography exhibits, interdisciplinary art installations and a selection of curated fashion films.

In its 12th year, Fashion Art Toronto continues to be Canada’s foremost platform for independent Canadian fashion and design; exposing and launching the careers of up-and-coming fashion designers, unconventional runway models and multi-disciplinary artists.

A true testament to the spirit of the arts and fashion culture in Toronto, Fashion Art Toronto is made possible with the collaborative effort of hundreds of creative participants, volunteers and sponsors each year. |FAT| attracts thousands of guests including buyers, media, industry participants and fashion enthusiasts.

The 2017 edition of Fashion Art Toronto titled FASHION EVOLUTION, looks at key moments and circumstances in history that brought about shifts in fashion. Throughout five nights of programming, the festival will explore how social, political, economical, and environmental circumstances have formed trends in fashion, and how technological and industrial advances have influenced fashion to change throughout history. The theme revisits fashion trends from the past, look at the new fashion of today, and also what we can expect in the future.

The five day event will feature over 100 designers and artists, and 50 runway shows!
