Toronto culinary star Anthony Rose heads west to showcase his skills at Function in the Junction on June 22nd, in support of  Haiti School Building Project.

Rose has made a name for himself as the brains behind popular Toronto establishments as Rose and Sons, Fat Pasha,Big Crow, Bar Begonia and, Schmaltz Appetizing. This eclectic mix of restaurants has turned Dupont Street into a micro foodie destination of its own. On top of great eats and delicious drinks, there will be amazing door prizes, a silent auction, cool DJ beats, live art, and a supportive crowd that likes to put their money where their heart is.

The party was inspired by the Haiti School Building Project, a wonderful initiative by Toronto Educator Serena Buffalino, who teaches Toronto’s most at-risk youth who, despite their own extreme life challenges, took it upon themselves to fund and build a school for the orphaned children of Canan, Haiti. This school will change the lives of over 500 kids who will be given a chance for a better future and who, through this project, have been given hope. The school is close to completion and the party organisers want to help push it to the finish line.

The event space is a gorgeous, funky loft donated by the energetic and talented team behind ClutchPR, a premiere promotional company. Food items have been donated by The Sweet Potato and Canadian whisky provided by Corby’s. Some of the companies who have donated prizes for the auction include TuroThe Drake Hotel, Ultimate Athletics, Belfast Love, and Laurarowephotography.
