The Pfefferman family has found a new home on Showcase. Ahead of the Canadian broadcast premiere of the fourth season of Amazon Studios Transparent, Showcase brings viewers the first three seasons of the Golden Globe-winning series. Beginning July 21, Showcase will air three episodes back-to-back-to-back every Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET,  culminating with the season three finale on September 22. Broadcast details for season four will be announced at a later date.

Having kept his gender identity a secret since childhood, retired college professor and transgender woman Mort Pfefferman (Golden Globe-winner Jeffrey Tambor) has finally decided to live openly as Maura. But the Pfeffermans have few boundaries when it comes to each other’s lives.

When Maura tries telling her three grown children the news, she runs into the roadblock of their collective self-obsession. Eldest daughter Sarah’s (Amy Landecker) failing marriage is challenged by the reemergence of a college girlfriend; youngest child Ali (Gaby Hoffmann) is continuing her struggle to get off the family dole; and son Josh (Jay Duplass) has come face-to-face with the consequences of a lifetime of multiple sexual partners. As the kids larger-than-life mom Shelly (Golden Globe-nominee Judith Light) struggles to care for her ailing second husband, the details of Maura’s past collide with her hopes and dreams for the future.
