From the family friendly to the downright nasty, the FEMINIST FUCK IT FEST is a curated festival of multidisciplinary women and non binary-identifying artists presenting original, bold, and entertaining works of art. The Festival will take place at 360 Geary Lane from April 11th – April 22nd.

Headlining production GANGA’S GANJA will play throughout the festival- on 4/20 dude- every night at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. By Radha S. Our featured production will be followed by nightly programming at 9:00pm and 10:30pm; a unique curation including returning Fringe hits, new play readings, a UK import, cabarets, musicals, puppetry, queer comedy nights, feminist film screenings, rock shows, and so much more!

Over the past few years, amidst a wave of women-led movements, marches on Washington,#metoo, and Time’s Up, feminism has moved to the front lines of social debate. The women led team at The Storefront agree – Fuck it!

Time IS up! In the spirit of moving forward and supporting each other, FFIF celebrates the female experience from a multitude of perspectives. FFIF will proudly give a platform to almost 100 artists: actors, directors, writers, musicians, puppeteers, comedians, filmmakers, producers, and technicians

Curatorial team Jasmine Chen, Michaela Washburn, Sedina Fiati, Bahia Watson, Claire Burns, BriProke and everyone at The Storefront are stoked to transform 360 Geary Lane into one heaving estrogen laden art space for two weeks in April.

HEALTHY MORNING WEEKEND SHOWS: Weekends will be full to the brim with exciting activity and timely discussions. For all the multitasking mothers out there, weekends will include family programming such as Fay and Fluffy’s Storytime, and baby dance parties! For feminists seeking thoughtful insight, curated panel discussions will be offered, including Woke 2.0, hosted by Sedina Fiati and Generator, and Egg Donorama with We Are Egg Donors.

FUCK IT PARTIES FRIDAY/SATURDAY LATE NIGHT

Dance your faces off at DJ Nights and our astrologically inspired Aries Party, enjoy live music shows, or belt out your fave estrogen coated tunes at our Feminist Karaoke Nights! 4204U (APRIL 20): Weed women unite! Come sample the edibles at the maryjane market  , mosh to the music of your soul and get down to our 420 friendly programming. There’s something for everyone at THE FEMINIST FUCK IT FEST!Bring the kids, the wife, the biker chicks, the gal pals, the hippies and the potheads. Let’s support art that is inclusive of women’s voices and embraces more multi – faceted viewpoints and approaches. Let’s have an arty party!

What’s Queer?

Claire Burns and Sedina Fiati are now the leaders of The Storefront Theatre, both openly queer, and both active voices for women, and the LGBTQ community. Elvira Kurt: one of Canada’s comedic gems, with over 30 years in the professional comedy scene, most of that openly queer

–  NASTY   (a top picks from last year’s Fringe!): a queer punk rad fem exploration of evil, power, and guilt through the lens of fourteen vilified figures from history and legend. 4 of the performers are trans, and almost the entire ensemble falls under the LGBTQIA umbrella 

–  Fay & Fluffy’s Storytime, a local favourite, drag queens Fay Slift and Fluffy Souffle bring their family friendly reading time back again, spreading their messages of love and tolerance
