Peel HIV/AIDS Network (PHAN) wants you to join their We Belong: Voices of Youth International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOT) Breakfast, to be held on May 17, 2018, at the Grand Victorian Convention Centre in Mississauga.

We Belong: Voices of Youth will convene over 200 of the Peel Region’s most influential policy makers and community builders to explore the role we can all play in nurturing a sense of belonging for 2SLGBTQ+  youth in Peel Region and the surrounding area. Building on last year’s theme of 2SLGBTQ+  Inclusion, We Belong: Voices of Youth will centre upon the issue of 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion as it relates to young people in our region.  In order to ensure that LGBTQ youth have a seat at the table for this very important discussion, the organization will be providing 50+ sponsored tickets to 2SLGBTQ+ youth.

We Belong: Voices of Youth attendees will enjoy sumptuous cuisine in the opulent Grand Victorian Convention Centre while taking in an exciting roster of speakers, all of whom have achieved tremendous acclaim as a result of their substantial contributions to advocacy efforts around LGBTQ inclusion. A youth-centred panel will include a complement of notable 2SLGBTQ+ youth hailing from the GTA, who together will explore the themes of gender diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Make your voice heard in the movement to enhance 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion in the Peel Region. Those interested in sponsoring a table for 2SLGBTQ+ youth, or to learn more about other sponsorship opportunities, contact Andrea D’Souza.

Tickets are available for purchase here.
