Things are returning to normal and the beloved festival celebrating Fine Art and Music in Toronto’s West Queen West plans to celebrate, returning to its outdoor festival Sept 18th-19th while continuing to offering a digital version of the festival Sept 15th-19th.

The Queen West Art Crawl is a three-tiered festival, which takes place at Trinity Bellwoods (790 Queen Street West) every year for a weekend of fun in the park that is open to anyone, free of cost. The festival focuses around its curated Outdoor Art Exhibition, where passersby can gaze at fine art, crafts and more, meet the artists and make unique purchases. Parents are thrilled to let their little ones enjoy the Kid’s Zone, a 2SLGBT+ family friendly space, with drag story time and other artsy activities to encourage your young future Picasso. Finally, the music of the Main Stage Performance Series showcases local talent near our Steam Whistle Beer Tent and our Pop-Up Kitchens. DJs, Drag Queens and Bands keep the festival lively and unique. More information about this year’s acts will be released closer to the date.

The Queen West Art Crawl is now in its 18th year, and under new artistic leadership as of 2019, when Jonathan Brett became the festival’s third Artistic Director. His first year at the helm gave us an impressive covid-friendly, digital experience, winning Now Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Award for Best Virtual Exhibit, and we are excited to continue that online experience for those who cannot access the park this year. Like last year, new content will be dropped daily onto our website where we have created a digital park, www.queenwestartcrawl.com.
