Toronto’s longest running annual multi-arts fashion event Fashion Art Toronto will return with a three-day in-person event at Design Exchange (234 Bay St.) Taking place from Friday, May 6 through Sunday, May 8, the 2022 event will host runway shows from 40 Canadian designers and feature fashion-inspired art installations. New this season, Fashion Art Toronto has partnered with Canadian designer popup INLAND who will present its Spring retail popup featuring 40 Canadian retail brands throughout the weekend.  “We are thrilled to bring people back to experience Fashion Art Toronto in person after two years of hosting virtual fashion events. We have a diverse group of talented designers and artists who will share their latest collections on our runway at Design Exchange this May,” said Vanja Vasic, founder and executive director, Fashion Art Toronto. “Our theme for 2022 is OpenHaus – because we are an inclusive space that welcomes everyone, and our doors are open again! The INLAND Spring retail popup will be free to enter, and open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 6th, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 7th, and from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 8th. Fashion Art Toronto is also hosting a special preview presentation in partnership with the Artist Project this year. Artist/designers Jason Baerg and Meesh will share their latest collections at the Queen Elizabeth Building at Exhibition Place in Toronto on Thursday, April 21.
