The Second City Toronto presents “All Messed Up & Nowhere To Go“, a hilarious, unhinged expedition into life’s greatest catastrophes, from destination weddings and those mysterious Tupperware lids that don’t fit anything, to Ontario’s education system, passive-aggressive job interviews, Law & Order Toronto, discreet flatulation, pronoun usage, and boys’ night out. This sparkling six-person ensemble gasses up the EV to take you on a wild and hilarious road trip. As comedy is suppose to do, there were some cringe-worthy not quite so PC moments, where the audience wasn’t sure if it was okay to laugh or not.

This latest production’s opening night was introduced by Second City alumni, Colin Mochrie, and the cast received a well-deserved standing ovation for their tight, flawless performances. One of the most hilarious skits was when Christian Vangel Smith and Coko Galore were playing Gen Z characters at a restaurant, complete with Gen Z accents and attitudes, while both clamouring over their server Scott Yamamura. As always, audience members should be prepared to be singled out, and might even be requested to contribute props to the performance. With well over 20 different skits, there’s definitely something for everyone to laugh at, and isn’t that what we all need sometimes!

There’s also a special food and drink menu created specifically for the show, including the Colin Mochquiri and Destination Wedding cocktails, along with All Messed Up Fries, that will put poutine to shame.
