Elbows Up! Canada’s Coast-to-Coast Wine Fair takes place on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Fort York in Toronto, bringing together more than 25 wineries from across Canada for a public tasting event. It is the first event of its kind, created to spotlight both the growing quality of Canadian wine, and the barriers that still limit its national reach.
Producers from British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia will pour during three separate tasting sessions starting at noon and running until 730pm. Beyond the tasting, the event is also intended to amplify the conversation around interprovincial trade restrictions and tariffs that continue to impact Canadian winemakers and consumers.
The organizers state they want to also use this platform to, not only showcase the best Canada has to offer, but also generate momentum around changing/removing the interprovincial trade barriers, make some noise around American tariffs, and remind everyone: ALL Canadian wine is LOCAL wine, regardless of where it’s made or sold in our country. An associated petition has been launched to support this advocacy.

Each admission includes unlimited tasting samples, a keepsake glass, and access to local food vendors. This is a joint consumer/trade tasting. Full event details and tickets are available here.
