Heated Rivalry composer Peter Peter debuts two lead singles from the series’ official soundtrack, which is set for release later this month via Milan Records.  “Rivalry” delivers a high‑octane techno rush built for the adrenaline of Major League Hockey, while the hotly anticipated original song “It’s You” captures the series’ tender, romantic emotional arc. Together they preview a soundtrack buzzing with intensity, heart, and the addictive energy fans can’t stop talking about. Season Two has already been given the green light, and

Created by award-winning Canadian writer, director, and producer Jacob Tierney (Letterkenny, Shoresy), Heated Rivalry is the epic story of hockey’s steamiest secret between two of the sport’s biggest stars, Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), whose rivalry is matched only by their magnetic pull toward each other. Peter Peter is the moniker of Canadian singer-songwriter, producer and composer Peter Jones. Originally from the small town of Chicoutimi in Québec, Peter began his music career playing in bands before relocating to Montreal and signing with Audiogram for his eponymous solo debut in 2011.

In the years that followed Peter split his time between Québec and France, releasing five solo albums that showcase his artistic evolution from singer-songwriter to multi-instrumentalist and producer, as he gradually embraced synthesizers, drum machines and sequencers into his work. His most recent solo effort, 2024’s Éther, confirms this evolution, effortlessly blending melody-driven songwriting with expansive, electronic soundscapes. 

The album also opened the door to Peter Peter’s debut scoring effort for the viral hit sensation Heated Rivalry, with showrunner and creator Jacob Tierney personally inviting him to score the series while listening to the album during much of the show’s preproduction.
