Launched in 2015, Naked Heart is the largest LGBTQ literary festival in the world, and the most racially diverse literary festival in Ontario. This festival is held in the Church and Wellesley neighbourhood of Toronto, and includes workshops, panels, performances and discussions for writers and lovers of words. The festival hub is at Glad Day Bookshop (499 Church Street), the world’s longest-running LGBTQ bookstore. Naked Heart strives to be as accessible as possible with wheelchair accessibility at all venues, and 16 hours of ASL interpretation provided at readings, workshops and panel discussions.

Highlights include a book launch for legendary rocker and community pillar Patricia Wilson’s Musings From The Bunker and Slouching Towards Womanhood, with special guests David Bateman, Brock Hessel, and Gordon Bowness on Saturday, November 23 at Glad Day Bookshop, 5:15 PM – 6:30 PM.
