Black & Blue Schedule of Events
The Black & Blue Festival is the world’s largest gay-benefit dance festival. theBUZZ is a proud sponsor of this event that raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for HIV/AIDS.
The 24th edition of the renowned Black & Blue Festival will take place from October 8 to 14. The BBCM Foundation, the team behind the organization of this week-long event, announces a series of various official activities and, at the same time, the names of the event DJs at Palais des congrès on Sunday, October 12, under the theme « Inspiration Metropolis » linked to the mythic film Metropolis by Fritz Lang (1927).

Wednesday, October 8
- Launch event – Restaurant Renoir de l’hôtel Sofitel
- Official Launch Party – Aigle noir
- Black & Blue DJ Classic Series – Electric Avenue
Thursday, October 9
- Presidents Cocktail – Cabaret Mado
- Jock Ball – Apollon Bar
Friday, October 10
- Pré-Bal en Cuir – Aigle noir
- Bal en Cuir – Usine C (magnificent venue located in the Gay village, never used for a BBCM event before)
- Official Friday After – Special Black & Blue After-hours, 1439 St-André Street
Saturday, October 11
- Official Brunch – Le Saloon
- Official Dinner – Le Saloon
- Pre- Bears & Friends – Stud
- Saturday Party “Black & Blue” – Apollon
- Bears & Friends – Espace des arts (venue used for the first time)
- Official Saturday After – Special BBCM After-hours, 1439 St-André
Sunday, October 12
- Official Brunch – Le Saloon
- T-Dance – SKY Pub
- Pre-Black & Blue – Aigle noir
- Main event – Palais des congrès
Monday, October 13

Furthermore, the Festival includes cultural & sporting events such as a visit a Musée
Mc Cord for the exhibition « Musique – Le Québec de Charlebois à Arcade Fire », a play at Centaur Theater (Venus in Fur), and a play presented by Village Scene, and the Big Jump Volleyball tournament.
TICKETS AND VIP PASSES
It is possible to purchase your VIP passes on line via the BBCM web site: http://bbcm.org/billets. Two categories are available:
- The TOP VIP Festival pass which includes all the official events of the Festival, at a price of $400.00
- The Weekend VIP pass which includes a selection of the main events presented on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, at a price of $250.00
The individual tickets for the main event are still available at the special presale price (until September 1st):
Regular ticket (for the event on October 12): $80 plus service charges
VIP ticket (for the event on October 12): $105 plus service charges
PLEASE NOTE: After this presale, the prices of the tickets will go up:
Regular : $95 plus service charges
VIP : $120 plus service charges
