The Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives (CLGA) is hosting it’s second annual fundraising benefit called “Disco Gala.”

CLGA is celebrating 40 years this year with a retro disco party. The event will feature cocktails, dinner, live entertainment, an auction, and disco dancing!

Since 1973, the CLGA has dedicated itself to the recovery of LGBTQ histories and has grown to become the largest independent archives of its kind in the world. Through its mission to acquire, preserve, and provide public access to archival materials, the CLGA has become an invaluable resource for hundreds of students, artists, journalists, lawyers, filmmakers, and others in the community.

Your support of this event will ensure CLGA continues to do their important work of achiving important community materials and keeping them accessible for generations to come.  By collecting and caring for important historical records, personal papers, unpublished documents, publications, audio-visual material, works of art, photographs, posters, and other artifacts, the CLGA is a trusted guardian of LGBTQ+ histories now and for generations to come.
