One More Night Theatre Festival – Until Sept 18, 2016
Do you ever wish you had seen a theatre production that’s reached the end of its run, but for whatever reason you never got around to seeing it? Well, here’s your chance to perhaps catch it again, for One Night Only. Vikki Velenosi and Kasey Dunn, founders of popular arts spaces The Attic and The Box, have come together as Brick and Mortar to change the landscape for independent, self-producing artists in Toronto. In a tumultuous time when many Toronto arts spaces are closing their doors, Brick and Mortar is fighting to open more! Brick and Mortar offers a variety of unique spaces across the city that are alive with history and drama. Each clean and accessible venue provides a beautiful space in which artists can be free to create.The newest space, The Commons, is an unconventional 5200sft theatre facility, accessible to all artists at all levels of their career. 4 nights of theatre, 12 shows revisited, 1 performance each. Centrally located at 190 Richmond St E, The Commons will be the venue for the 4th annual One More Night Festival, September 12-18, 2016.
