Pride Toronto announced today the official dates of its 38th annual Pride Festival happening from June 22 to 24, 2018. Toronto’s third annual Pride Month starts June 1 with the Flag Raising Ceremony at City Hall.

Pride Month 2018 will see the return of long-standing hallmarks of Pride, including the Streetfair, Pride Parade, Dyke March and the world’s largest Trans* pride march. In addition, there will be a full slate of cultural and affiliate events, human rights panels, community and festival stages, and more.

Pride Month 2018 will celebrate and empower Toronto’s vibrant and creative LGBTQ+communities in unique and exciting ways,” said Olivia Nuamah, Pride Toronto Executive Director. “With the help of our business and community partners, we’re planning new stages, new activations and new events that will grow the festival and create spaces for all members of our community to come together, be proud, and have fun.”

Advance registration for both the Pride Parade and Street fair will be available on pridetoronto.com starting this week. More detailed information about the theme, specific events and programming for festival weekend will be made available throughout early 2018 in the lead-up to Pride Month.
