Toronto Singer Simone Denny releases Christmas single and performs live Nov 24, 2017
Stereo Dynamite Recordings is happy to announce the release of (Baby It’s Christmas) Bring it On Home To Me by Canadian soul powerhouse Simone Denny on Friday, November 10, 2017.
(Baby It’s Christmas) Bring it On Home To Me is a warm nostalgic soul song about longing for a loved one at Christmas. Originally released in 1962 as Bring it On Home To Me by American soul music legend Sam Cooke; here Simone Denny and The Stereo Dynamite All Stars have lovingly given the song a retro-soul update with a festive feel.
“Christmas is my favourite time of year because it’s a Christian celebration that embraces everyone. All races. All creeds. It’s about children’s laughter, families and loved ones spending time together,” said Simone Denny. “It all about love, peace, good wishes and hope for the year ahead.”
Simone Denny is a five-time Juno Award winner known for her mighty vocals in the legendary Canadian pop-dance group LOVE Inc, and techno group BKS. Her collaborative work spawned the global hit theme song for Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. She released her debut solo album, The Stereo Dynamite Sessions Vol. 1, in October 2015.
