The 2020/21 Mirvish Theatre Season features 13 shows – 6 Main Season shows; 3 Off-Mirvish season shows, and 4 Bonus shows. The Main Subscription Season features six new productions, bringing Toronto audiences new plays and musicals and award-winning revivals of classics from London and New York:

• the Canadian premiere of PRESSURE, written by David Haig and starring Kevin Doyle of Downtown Abbey fame;
• two Andrew Lloyd Webber blockbusters – the new 50th Anniversary production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, and the Canadian premiere of LOVE NEVER DIES the sequel musical to The Phantom of the Opera.
• the North American premiere of & JULIET, the latest musical blockbuster from London in a major new Canadian production;
• the Canadian premiere of the radical retelling of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s OKLAHOMA!, winner of the 2019 Tony® Award for Best Revival of a Musical;
• and the North American premiere of the Chichester Festival stage adaptation of Agatha Christie’s MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS.

The Off-Mirvish Season offers three engaging, daring and fascinating shows:
• the Canadian premiere of THINGS I KNOW TO BE TRUE, by celebrated Australian writer Andrew Bovell and starring Canadian favourites Tom McCamus and Seana McKenna, co-produced with The Company Theatre;
• BOY FALLS FROM THE SKY, Jake Epstein’s autobiographical musical look at a young life in the theatre, a smash hit at Toronto’s Fringe Festival;
• the Toronto premiere of the Segal Centre for Performing Arts production of MYTHIC, a new musical that retells the story of Persephone and Hades set in present day and featuring 25 infectious original songs.
