QUEENS – a comical drama series filled with local Toronto drag queens, premieres June 19, 2020 on CBC
A new CBC Gem original scripted series is premiering on June 19,2020, and you don’t want to miss it!
QUEENS is a comedy/whodunnit mystery offering a look into the drag scene through the eyes of an eclectic cast of Toronto drag queens, building up to the manic night of the “Miss Church Street Pageant.” After the sacred Miss Church Street crown goes missing, each queen has their preparation for the pageant interrupted in a strange and unfortunate way. The Queens cause a ruckus at all of Lou’s part-time jobs, and all of these mishaps lead the queens to realize the truth – that they have all been sabotaged! But who among them is the saboteur? Or, rather, saboteuse?
Each 10-minute episode (6 in total) follows the misadventures of a particular drag performer whose preparation for the “Miss Church Street” pageant is interrupted in a strange and unfortunate way.

3 – Naomi gets locked in a makeup store
4 – Sharron and Minnie find themselves running late with a lost child in tow.
