It’s Pride, which is the official start to summer partying, so why not celebrate in style while supporting local charities. Here are six breweries who are showing the true colours. Many are limited quantity, so call ahead if stopping by the brewery, or check online for supplies at your local LCBO. Support those who support!

Mill Street Brewery, Toronto

Mill Street Brewery launched Proud Pilsner  in support of Beer. Diversity., a local Toronto organization launched by beer industry veteran Ren Navarro to educate, enlighten and make beer more approachable to a diverse audience. This thirst quenching Pilsner features soft and fragrant malt and hops – building a balanced bitterness that lasts from start to finish.

This beer has a truly outstanding balance and thirst quenching bitterness. The malt and hops are very soft and perfumey and the bitterness builds from the beginning through to the finish–it is sneaky and will leave you wanting another one. Sales from the balanced pilsner will support Navarro’s work in educating and consulting on diversity in the beer community. www.beer-diversity.com
