Celebrate Toronto is curating a month long Virtual Festival to honour the city’s 187th Anniversary happening from March 6th, to April 6, 2021.. .This year, we will be focusing on three key pillars, “Rebuild, Reconnect, Show Love”, as we highlight Toronto small businesses, performers, and artists, creating a platform to promote the heart and soul of our city and community.

“The Anniversary of our city is a cause for celebration, a time to reflect on many accomplishments and an opportunity to look with new hope to a future of new possibilities,” said Mayor John Tory.

The Virtual event will feature a Live Show on March 6th, at 7:00pm with remarks from Mayor Tory, musical performances from Toronto based artists, a DJ Video Dance Party and highlights of Toronto small businesses. Online programming will include the ‘Toronto Made Market’, featuring 75+ local vendors, contests, games, and the #RemiDanceChallenge, a choreographed dance routine challenge by our Mascot, Remi the Raccoon. This year, Celebrate Toronto is in support of DonateTO helping to raise funds towards Covid19 Relief & Recovery.

Live Show features musical guests Newchoir, Queen Pepper, and the Queens Own Rifles Band and Bugles, along with online contests and games such as Toronto Trivia, Colour TO, and a Toronto themed Virtual Photo Booth awarding over $2000 in giveaways to contest entrants.
