Registration is now open for the Women’s Hockey Club of Toronto. Established in 1993, WHCT is the largest non-contact, non-slapshot, recreational, queer, ice-hockey League in Canada, and will be back to Saturday evening games at Moss Park Arena starting October 16th and until the end of April.

The Women’s Hockey Club of Toronto (WHCT) is an adult recreational non-body-checking ice hockey league, open to women (18 or over) who are lesbian, bisexual, queer, trans, two-spirited, non-binary, or allied, that offers a safe space for gay and gay-positive women to play ice hockey. All players are welcome regardless of skill level — beginners just learning to play, mid-range, and experienced players.

WHCT is believed to be the only queer women’s hockey league in Canada, and certainly one of the largest in North America. The Teams are set up each season and every attempt is made to balance the teams with a mixture of players of all ages and skill levels.

Games are Saturday evenings at Moss Park Arena in downtown Toronto in the Fall and Winter.  Registration is $425 (goalies are free) and is due by September 18th. Players must be double-vaxxed and COVID protocols will be in place. Visit whct.ca for the Pre-Season Letter, Registration Form, instructions, and additional information.
