The Runner – dark wave electronic music duo, Boy Harsher, delve into film production
The Runner follows a strange woman as she travels to a secluded, rural town where her violent compulsions are slowly revealed. The story intertwines with band Boy Harsher performing on a public access channel. Their music scores the strange woman’s descent deeper into the unknown. Featuring break-out performances by musician Kris Esfandiari (King Woman), performance artist Sigrid Lauren (FlucT), and musician Cooper B. Handy (Lucy).

Boy Harsher formed in 2013 in Savannah, Georgia, and are currently based in Northampton, Massachusetts. The band consists of vocalist Jae Matthews and producer Augustus Muller, who have become somewhat of a cult following after their song “Pain”become an underground dance club hit. Matthews and Muller own and run the label Nude Club Records, which is exclusively devoted to Boy Harsher and related artists. Matthews and Muller are also life partners.
