For over 20 years Eldritch Theatre has been prowling the theatrical underground, earning audience acclaim, along with over 25 Dora Awards nominations and wins for their outstanding horror productions.

The red door opens at the haunted Red Sandcastle Theatre to reveal Doc Wuthergloom, Eldritch Theatre’s resident necromancer, presenting an evening of demented puppetry and feats of dark parlour magic which tell blood curdling cautionary tales of foolish mortals whose sins beget their grim demise, both in this life and the grim here-after. Returning from its sold out pandemic premiere for a limited run. Recommended for those with mature and jaded hearts. A Halloween tradition of curses, magic, and puppetry…we dare you to attend!

SNAPSHOT REVIEW

What an amazing one-person performance by Doc Wuthergloom, that offers a vaudevillian like atmosphere of magic, mystery, and mayhem. Oh, and don’t forget the puppets, those pesky little puppets who appear and disappear throughout the evening. Doc keeps the audience mesmerized throughout with props, magic tricks, wizardry, jokes, and of course, his Dollhouse of Deadly Sins. As it’s a small venue, Doc can also seek out willing and unwilling audience members to be part of his routine. Put this on your Halloween list for next year, as there’s nothing else like it in the city.
