Hot Docs Cinema screens Music Docs on Neil Young, Paul McCartney, and John Lennon
In December, Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema will screen a selection of the most acclaimed and awarded documentaries of 2022, premiere new films featuring music icons like Neil Young in Nashville, Paul McCartney in Abbey Road Studios, and John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band in Toronto’s Varsity Stadium.
First-run films featuring music icons include Neil Young: Harvest Time, an intimate journey into the making of the iconic 1972 album Harvest; REVIVAL 69: The Concert That Rocked the World, the behind-the-scenes story of how a little known, but life-altering Toronto music festival came together—against all odds; and If These Walls Could Sing, the untold story of the Abbey Road studio, featuring Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Elton John, Roger Waters, Liam Gallagher, John Williams, Celeste and Sheku Kanneh-Mason, among others.
