EUREKA: A California Wine Discovery takes place on May 8, 2023 at Beanfield Centre, Exhibition Place in Toronto, and showcases some of the finest wines from the vineyards of the Golden State. This special event celebrates the Golden State, and is designed for wine enthusiasts to experience and discover wines from California in a whole new way. Enjoy a taste of the California lifestyle in Toronto and indulge in an opportunity to taste hundreds of wines in an innovative, refreshing and relaxed environment.

California Wines invites you to soak up the sunshine during this educational, immersive walk-around tasting event that showcases more than 400 wines from California. During the two-and-a-half-hour experience, sample wines from many regions and appellations and meet with winery representatives to learn more about what makes their wines so special. There’s never been a better time to Taste California!

California’s beauty, diverse landscape and ideal year-round climate are as good for our wines as they are for our visitors. With dozens of distinct regions, more than 100 wine grape varieties and winemakers who are as passionate about their art as they are about sustainable practices, California has the perfect glass for every taste.“Eureka!” is the state motto of California, meaning “I found it!”. It ties back to the gold rush when the state was founded by people looking for a better life, and today it underscores California’s inherent spirit of discovery and innovation.

Did you know that 60% of California’s 246,881 hectares of wine grapes are certified sustainable Additional vineyards are certified organic, biodynamic, and/or regenerative and some vineyards are certified to more than one program. You should also know that 82% of California wine is made in a certified sustainable winery and over 250 certified wineries produce 258 million cases of wine.

You will feel like you are in the vineyards when you experience a beautiful courtyard that reflects the California lifestyle and showcases sustainably grown wines and small bites from Jackson Family Vineyards.
