Smorgasburg Toronto, the weekly food market that launched on Toronto’s Harbourfront at Queens Quay East and Yonge Street last summer, is returning for a second season of what will now be an annual presence.

After a successful first year that drew more than 10,000 people to each of its eight events, Smorgasburg Toronto will build upon the opportunity for local food vendors to grow and launch their businesses, reach new customers, and join an inclusive platform and community of like minded entrepreneurs.

The market will grow to 50 weekly vendors every Saturday, and expand to 12 dates between June 24 and September 9, 2023. To improve upon the market’s operation and customer experience, Smorgasburg has entered into a new partnership with Collective Concerts, Toronto’s largest independent concert promoter and local event producer. \

Smorgasburg launched in Brooklyn, New York, in 2011, as a spinoff of Brooklyn Flea (founded in 2008), and has since launched hundreds of small businesses and attracted millions of visitors. In addition to Brooklyn and Toronto, Smorgasburg now has weekly markets in Los Angeles and Miami, plus an annual market in Sao Paulo, with other new locations coming soon.

Smorgasburg Toronto is located at 7 Queens Quay and open Saturdays from 11am  to 6pm on the following dates: June 24, July 1st (Canada Day), July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29, August 5 (August Long Weekend), August 12, August 19, August 26, September 2 (Labour Day Weekend), September 9.

Always free to attend, open to all ages, and welcomes everyone from everywhere. The market features a licensed bar and will be adding seating and shade options for customers this season.
