VideoCabaret in association with Crow’s Theatre, have  announced the World Premiere of Cliff Cardinal’s stage production of (Everyone I Love Has) A Terrible Fate (Befall Them) runs from October 10-November 4, 2023 at the Deanne Taylor Theatre (10 Busy Street, Toronto).

Cliff Cardinal (Writer/Actor) and Karin Randoja (Dramaturg, Director) are back collaborating for a third time on A Terrible Fate, which reveals a dark comedy about life, death, and what terribleness lives in between. Cardinal deftly performs multiple characters in this provocative and profound one-person-show, with Randoja’s darkly humorous twist on what it means to be human.

(Everyone I Love Has) A Terrible Fate (Befall Them) by Cliff Cardinal, is co-produced by Aaron Rothermund and Layne Coleman, and officially launches VideoCabaret’s ambitious new programming at Busy Street under the guidance of its new Artistic Producer and General Director, Aaron Rothermund, who is also a feature writer for theBUZZ.

Cliff Cardinal is an associate artist at VideoCabaret. Karin Randoja  is a celebrated founding member of Primus Theatre and The Independent Aunties.
