In Pour Taste: A Comedy Wine Tasting Experience, is for everyone, from savvy sauvignon swiggers to clueless chardonnay chuggers. Join in the fun as the wine industry’s hardest-hitting questions are answered… How far should I extend my pinky when sipping? What the heck is a tannin? And who’s parked in the loading bay? After sell-out shows at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival and across Australia, comedians Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh are bringing their award-winning wine-tasting show to Toronto for a limited run, Nov 26 to Dec 22, 2024.

Sweeney Preston & Ethan Cavanagh are two of Australia’s fastest rising and extravagantly overdressed comedians. Between them, they have performed internationally in Germany, the UK, Ireland, Indonesia, South Africa, New Zealand, and all corners of Australia, including shows at 6 consecutive Melbourne International Comedy Festivals. Still just in their mid-20s the pair are making their presence in the comedy world known. They are winners of an Overall Best in Category Award at the 2024 Adelaide Fringe Festival — the world’s second-largest arts festival, a Best Comedy Weekly Award at the Perth Fringe, and the Best Comedy Award at New Zealand’s Dunedin Fringe.

This is a fully interactive experience that includes audience interaction, and a guided lesson in wine tasting led by an illustrious local wine expert. The evening promises a raucously great time with this comedic duo who promise five wines and “at least five jokes” in this hilarious nod to wine knowledge and wine tasting. With the holidays upon us, this also makes a perfect gift for the food and wine enthusiasts on your holiday list
