The Binding tells the story of Binyamin, who just turned 21 and moved to Tel Aviv after coming out as gay, and also facing the trauma of his brother’s death in a car accident for which he feels responsible. Binyamin’s life takes a turn to the darker side when his relationship with the older Avinoam, the pub owner where he works, grows closer.

Binyamin lives by himself in a small apartment in the center of Tel Aviv, and has a very active sex life, exploring the kinks and fetishes associated with BDSM. Being away from his allows him to detach himself, even if just for a moment, from the trauma that accompanies his family’s lives.

Avinoam is a nationalist religious man, and a charismatic person who uses his powerful words as a weapon. Under his care, Binyamin will find a safe space, up until an unexpected event will disrupt his entire life. The Binding is the second installment in a trilogy that explores intimacy and loss.
