Brewery & the Beast is turning up the heat this summer with the addition of twelve new restaurants to its 2026 festival lineup, including: Azura, Alebrije, Burger Drops, Cafe Renee, Eataly, Enigma, Good Behaviour, Mozy’s, Pai, Rodney’s Oyster House, Romi’s and Taline. The festival is also pleased to share that it has tappedrenowned bartender and Bar Mordecai co-owner Christina Veira to oversee the festival’s cocktail programming, including a specialty menu curated for attendees. A selection of craft beer, cocktails, premium wines, hard teas and zero-proof beverages will offer something for everyone, including drinks from partners Henderson Brewing Company, Driftwood Brewing Company, Sunweld Hard Lemonade, Solly’s Craft Soda, Rodney’s Caesars, and of course, Bar Mordecai.
“Brewery & the Beast in Vancouver had me at hello — brilliant chefs, unreal food, and the kind of energy that makes you want to cook all night. Toronto, get ready,” says Chef Charlotte Langley of Nice Cans and Langley Foods. “Open fire, local proteins, fresh fish, peak-season produce — this is my happy place, and I’m thrilled to be back cooking at Brewery & the Beast.”
Brewery & the Beast will deliver a memorable food & beverage experience that celebrates Toronto’s incredible culinary scene and community. The $149.95 (+ HST) ticket gives guests unlimited food and drinks for a single price. Guests can expect a wide range of boldly flavoured, internationally-inspired dishes cooked over a live fire, with each chef putting their own spin on the best locally sourced meats and seafood. Dishes from each presenter will feature an array of specially crafted dishes featuring Ontario-raised beef, bison, pork, lamb, wild boar, duck, venison, chicken and more
“We’re so excited to bring our authentic South American cuisine to Torontonians this summer,” shares Chef Matias Sallaberry, co-founder of South Fire. “My wife and I started this business with the goal of sharing the traditional fire-cooking techniques that I grew up watching my abuelo (grandfather) perform on the grill. We’ve been a part of Brewery & the Beast since 2023, and have travelled to cook in all of the cities, which has allowed us to showcase our traditions and heritage to so many people over the years.”
Continuing a longstanding commitment to sustainability and community, the festival will feature proteins sourced exclusively from Canadian farms and ranches, like Linton Pasture Pork, King Cole Ducks and Martin’s Family Farm beef, alongside reusable service materials and waste diversion through composting and recycling. All meat used at the event has been carefully sourced to ensure it is coming from producers who raise their animals naturally, ethically and responsibly. Partial proceeds from the event will also go towards scholarship awards for the George Brown Hospitality & Culinary Arts Program, supporting the future of the culinary industry.
The full lineup of award-winning restaurants and chefs includes: Alder, Alebrije, Azura, Black and Blue Steakhouse, Bar Mordecai, Barque Smokehouse, Bridgette Bar, Burger Drops, Cafe Renee, Cherry Street BBQ, Chef Matt Basile (Alchemy Grills), DaiLo, Eataly, Elora Mill, Elle Jay’s, Enigma, Enoteca Sociale, GEORGE Restaurant, Good Behaviour Ice Cream, Iron Cow Public House, Liliana, Little Sister, Mozy’s, Nice Cans (Charlotte Langley), Pai, Pears, Piano Piano, Pizzeria Libretto, Taline, Rodney’s Oyster House, Romi’s, South Fire and The Gate. “After more than a decade of building Brewery & the Beast across Western Canada, expanding to Toronto feels like a natural and exciting next step for us,” says Scott Gurney, founder of Brewery & the Beast. “Toronto is home to one of the most diverse and innovative culinary scenes in the world, and this festival is designed to give guests the unique opportunity to experience many of the city’s top restaurants, chefs and beverage makers all in one place. From live-fire cooking to locally sourced ingredients, we’re creating an unforgettable food experience that truly captures the energy and creativity of Toronto’s food scene.”
About Brewery & the Beast
Founded in Victoria, B.C. in 2012 by a small family-run, Canadian-owned business, Brewery & the Beast has grown into one of Western Canada’s most beloved summer food festivals. Founder Scott Gurney was inspired by the Southern U.S. BBQ-style festivals, envisioning one for Canada built around local and global culinary influence, premium hospitality, sustainability, local farmers, and giving back to the community. The festival quickly gained a devoted following after the early sell-out success in Victoria and rapidly expanded to Vancouver and Calgary, with tickets selling out within days to minutes.
Rooted in community and sustainability, Brewery & the Beast proudly upholds a strict meat standard, featuring proteins sourced exclusively from Canadian farmers and ranchers who raise their animals responsibly and ethically. Since launching in 2012, Brewery & the Beast has welcomed more than 60,000 attendees and raised over $185,000 for local charities and non-profits across Western Canada.
